Fire & Safety Services is pleased to announce and welcome three new employees to its ranks.
In our Service Department:
Devin Vogel joined Fire & Safety Services at the end of August 2020. After a brief orientation period, Devin will be a road service technician in northern New Jersey. Devin has 5-years of experience as a fire apparatus technician previously working for First Priority Emergency Vehicles and most recently for the Ferrara Factory facility in Little Ferry where he served as their Lead Road Technician. In addition, Devin has been a member of the Hamburg Fire Department since 2010 and was also a member at Hardyston Fire Department.
In our Sales Department:
Fire & Safety Services adds two new people to our sales team.
Rick Pumphrey joined us effective September 15, 2020. Rick will be working with Sam Squire in Atlantic and Cape May Counties in apparatus sales. This is done to prepare for the future as Sam begins to wind down after 36+ years representing Fire & Safety Services in southern New Jersey. Rick has over 12-years of experience in loose equipment sales and 5 years of experience in apparatus sales from his time at FireFighter1. In addition, Rick is a second-generation firefighter and has been a member and officer with the Stafford Township Fire Company. Sam and Rick will be working closely together and while Rick learns the ins and outs of Fire & Safety Services and our vendors, Sam will be the lead sales representative for our Atlantic and Cape May customer base.
Christopher Vallat joined us effective September 1, 2020. Chris will be focused on the growth of our Law Enforcement and EMS sales area. He will be focusing on the command apparatus as well as smaller 1- and 2-ton light rescue/command/ESU type apparatus. Chris has years of experience in the industry having worked at Odyssey Automotive and First Priority Emergency Vehicles in their Specialty Vehicle Group prior to joining Fire & Safety Services. He also has over 10 years of experience with Motorola radios with M&W Communications. In addition, Chris currently serves and protects Raritan Township as a Sergeant in the Police Department and has over 25 years with the Quakertown Fire Department, currently serving as Deputy Chief of EMS.
Welcome to the Fire & Safety Services family Devin, Rick, and Chris!
